I spent the other evening walking around Hanover looking shop windows photographing signifiers. This is the window of a national chain that sells classy apparel for women who want other people to think they have a million bucks. A lot of cotton and cheap buttons.

A real wasp might buy something here but they would never be as put together as the window displays.

Something about using older film emulsions reminds me of German films from the 1930s. German directors overcame numerous technical difficulties to shoot films high in the mountains with very primitive film making equipment.

To know Morgan is to know true wonder. Morgan owns a hot floral shop called Morgan’s Hot Flowershop and whenever I need inspiration to laugh like crazy, I pay her a visit. She was also useful during my week of funerals when she produced an award winning arrangement for a friend’s funeral. That award only existed in my head but her arrangement definitely was worthy of it. Morgan loves the results from my Super Wide Heliar 15 and that has given me the strength to use it even though I find it frustrating as all get out.
